The Gen 1 Porsche Cayenne Turbo S (955) is finally receiving the recognition it has long deserved and is a proper statement of early-2000s Porsche engineering excess. Costing significantly more than the standard Turbo when new, the 955 Turbo S was produced for one model year only: 2006. According to Rennlist data, approximately 1,500 examples were built worldwide, with fewer than 300 supplied to the UK. Today, these range-topping cars surface only occasionally, making good examples increasingly hard to find. The Turbo S received meaningful upgrades over the already formidable Turbo. Larger 380mm front brakes, revised intercoolers, air suspension enhancements and throttle body upgrades all featured, alongside a substantial power increase to 514bhp and 530lb/ft of torque - up from 444bhp in the Turbo. Paired with a 6-speed Tiptronic gearbox, 0–60mph is dispatched in just 5.2 seconds. Low range, locking centre differential and locking front differential were all fitted as standard, underlining its genuine off-road capability. This particular example presents beautifully with just 31,500 miles from new and benefits from a full tan leather interior, Bose sound system with boot-mounted subwoofer, Comfort Pack, Alcantara headlining, panoramic sunroof and heated seats front and rear.
