There are few cars quite as unmistakably British as a Morgan 4/4, and SB is delighted to be bringing this remarkably low-mileage 1993 example that captures much of what makes the model so enduringly appealing to the platform. Showing just 17,000 miles from new, this 4/4 has had only four owners, with its current keeper having owned the car for the past 12 years. Consequently, the car is now being reluctantly offered for sale, as the seller is no longer able to enjoy it as much as he once did. Finished in bright red over a black leather interior, it presents as a wonderfully traditional Morgan, complete with chrome wire wheels and spinners, stainless steel bumpers, chrome luggage rack and badge bar. A black hood and tonneau cover accompany the car, with the seller advising that the tonneau has never been used. Importantly, this 1993 example benefits from the later 1.8-litre engine, giving it a little more performance than earlier 4/4s while retaining the lightweight, wonderfully analogue character for which these cars are known.
